Reformed University Fellowship
RUF is a campus ministry that is launching at UT this fall. The ministry seeks to reach students with the good news of Christ so that they can experience his grace and express his grace to others. If you are interested in supporting RUF, you can do so in a few ways:
Campus Renewal exists to unite students, campus ministries and local churches in prayer and mission to reach every person on campus with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We do this practically through a 24/7 prayer house on campus, leadership connect groups, weekly prayer gatherings, united ministry events, and leadership and evangelism training to name a few. With 51,000 students and 20,000 faculty there is much work to be done. To learn more, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
The mission of Northeast Austin Young Life is that every student in urban Northeast Austin would hear the gospel of Jesus Christ and grow in their faith. College volunteer leaders and staff build relationships with students at Lanier, LASA, LBJ, Reagan and Burnet and share the love of God in word and in deed. Caring adults mentor leaders, pray for students, serve in various roles and support the mission financially. Opportunities to get involved: Pray. Join the Committee for a semester or year. Open your home to the volunteer leaders. Deliver food for club. Give financially. To get involved, please reach out to G+P member Scott Harmon.
Presbyterian Children's Homes and Services
Mission 1:27 is an initiative of Presbyterian Children's Homes and Services to help bring the needs of local children in foster care to the church body, inviting individuals and families to consider becoming foster and adoptive families. For over one hundred years, our organization has been serving children and families in Texas, offering hope and healing to those in crisis. We know that the church is the most likely place to find the BEST families who can help local children. To learn more or get involved, please reach out to Blaine Hamilton at email@example.com.
